Esperance, WA → South Australia

As drought continues to bite across parts of South Australia, our trucks are rolling once more.

This winter, Farmers Across Borders is heading east to support SA farmers doing it tough. We’re loading up road trains with hay and donated barley straw and delivering feed, support, and a strong message: we see you, you’re not alone.

This run is more than just bales on a truck. It’s the result of farmers helping farmers, truckies donating their time, and volunteers behind the scenes making it all happen. We’re working in partnership with Need for Feed Australia to coordinate this hay run across state lines, and to make sure it gets to the people who need it most.

“Every hay run reminds us that there’s strength in standing together — and that a load of hay can mean the world to someone who’s hanging on.”

This isn’t our first rodeo. Since 2014, we’ve delivered over 20,000 bales across WA, NSW, and QLD. This run to SA is another chapter in that story, and we couldn’t do it without our supporters.

Fuel is one of our biggest costs, and we’re calling on our community to help us get there. Every donation, big or small, helps us keep the wheels turning.

Because in times like these, it’s not just about feed.
It’s about showing up.
